"A charming pragmatic tasty stop that was delightful. It is plain and practical and clean. We are out-of -towners and I would recommend this place and come back again. We had a Ruben that was great, bacon cheeseburger that was lovely, great bacon, and the roast beef poutine. There are plenty of options that are prepared with care and intention."

"We are driving from Toronto on weekends and always my husband stops to buy their burgers. They are making the best burgers and Canada. The guys are doing amazing job. The food is perfect, the place is so tidy, and the service is great. If you passing by Midland you must stop and try their food."

"Went to Jay's Diner it was absolutely fantastic! We were luckily between rushes, we got our food decently fast but long enough that you know it was freshly made. Right after we sat down there was a huge rush! It could be busy when you go, just FYI! The decor is so clean and fresh, the staff is so kind and personable, the food is PHENOMENAL! I had the mushroom burger and poutine and I can say with confidence it's the best poutine in town! REAL cheese curds, definitely squeaky cheese looked like from Quebec, imo it was absolutely perfect! My burger was delicious and they brought it right to the table, the cook too! My mom and husband loved every bite! We are definitely going back!"

"Always loved Burger Barr when I was younger, as I grew up just down the street. Was feeling nostalgic so I ordered 2 chicken burgers and a medium poutine for my girlfriend and I to split. Tasted exactly how I remembered and satisfied my craving. Will be back for sure!"
